NetApp PowerShell Tool Kit Tutorial



Install the NetApp Powershell Tool  kit first.

Open a power shell prompt and check the power shell version.




List the modules.




You can able to see the Data ONTAP Module is available.




Now import the Data ONTAP Module. Then only you can use the NetApp commands.




To get a help.




To list the category of command set's.



Particular command help with examples.





Connect to the Cluster Admin Ip address with credentials.



Once connected successfully, you can access the cluster and run the commands.

List the disks information.


To List an existing aggregates.



To list the volumes.



To list the Storage Virtual Machines (Vservers)


To list a particular aggregate with all the options (Detailed Information).


To list the snapshot information of the volume vol0.




Adding and Listing licenses.



Using Cluster shell, List the aggregates. Now you have 4 aggregates.



Now you create a new aggregate.






To increase the capacity of an existing aggregate.




Create a new volumes.



Changing the volume status online, offline and restrict.




Mount volume with the junction path.




List the network interfaces.




Create a new LIF with intercluster role.




Creating a qtrees.
