Clustered Data Ontap 9 CIFS Configuration:
1. Check the CIFS License.
2. Check and add the DNS information in SVM.
3. Initially CIFS is not configured , we need to configure with Domain Authentication.
4. Add the AD Domain name and Admin user Credentials.
5. Now successfully configured as a domain member.
6. Now you can able to see the default shares.
7. Create a new share, specify the share name and volume name.
8. Then you can access from the windows server.
9. Login to the windows server.
10. Access the share folder with specifying netapp cluster data LIF ip address.
11. You can able to see the CIFS shares.
12. As per your privileges, you can create files.
