Clustered Data Ontap 8.3 Administration:

Block Level Management:


To list and create an iscsi server for block level management.

To create and list the new igroup (initiator group).

To create a new lun and list the lun status.

Map the lun to an existing initiator group.

To check from linux server, now we can able to see the new LUN is visible to the linux server.

You run the fdisk -l command, you can list the new disk.

To list the iscsi interface details.

Snapshot Administration:

To list and create a new snapshot for an existing volume.

After creating snapshot, just delete any file from the volume.

Using snapshot restore command, restore the file from an existing snapshot.

Once it is restored, you can able to see the old file which was deleted.
