Clustered Data Ontap 8.3 Administration:

Qtree Administration:

To list the qtree ... > volume qtree show.

To create a new qtree.

To list and create a new quota policy.

To set the new quota rule for an existing quota policy.

To list the CIFS server status.
> vserver cifs show.

To create a new cifs share using that existing qtree.

To access the cifs share from the windows server.

 Create a new file and list the contents using wrfile and rdfile commands.

The same file contents, we can able to list from the cifs share folder.

To set the new ACL for an existing cifs share.

You login as a user senthil, then you will have a full control.

If you login as another user kumar, the you will not able to create any new files because that user has only read.
