NetBackup 8.1.2 Legal Hold:

NetBackup provides an option to put backup images on hold. The holds mechanism

let’s you retain the backup images for as long as you need without altering the expiration date.

You can manage the holds by using the command-line interface.

·        Create a hold.

·        View the list of holds.

·        Add one or more backup images to an existing hold.

·        Release a hold from the backup image.
